I'm a prop maker and graphic designer for a living. pretty much all of my graphic design work is prop related as well. Hoping to do some work for obsidian or Bethesda sometime in the near future.

My work is featured in several fan films and I am in the market to make some money building more props. See Nuka break: The Series and Fallout houston for examples of my work. I designed the foodstuffs and chem labels as well as the poster for fallout Houston part 3.

Ah man, thanks! That means so much. I just draw things that the music and dopesmoke tells me to draw, man.

I was wondering if you could give some pointers or advice on how to become successful in this field? What steps did you take in order to get to the position you're in today?

I shamelessly whore myself out across the internet for one. takes a LOT of exposure generally in my experience. I wish I were better at Public relations on that note.... Also try to find ways to use new tools to get the money for more new tools as often as possible. you will need a drill press for certain if you want to do much in the way of scratch built props. as well as a dremel and a power sander. also helps to learn how to build and paint miniatures. a good paint job can make pvc look so much like metal you couldn't tell the difference without touching it. NEVER STOP LEARNING NEW TECHNIQUES, and always push yourself to do bigger and better.
