EYEPATCH! by emptysamurai EYEPATCH! by emptysamurai
primitive eye patch I built from scrap for my WW gear maybe. thinking an eye patch and metal prosthetic arm would go well in photos. need to dye it with rusty water.

rusty water turns it dark grey, which goes black with heated neetsfoot oil application

Dude! That is wicked. You'll have to post once you finish it. That costume is going to be killer. When I did my eyepatch outfit I used a piece of bicycle tire Link I think yours looks just a bit more comfortable ;)

making it black with white triple stitched dental floss, and I plan to build a prosthetic arm prop to go on the same side based on this pattern youtu.be/kpoh654pblE

I'll post WIP pics of the jacket that goes with it. te eyepatch would be TOO busy with the jacket I feel so it gets a primitive sort of hand made by a tribal sort of look

bwahahahahah! thanks! there is a crust punk jacket and such to go with this that gives me a very desert worn, cowpunk, rogue trader sort of look. the beard is being grown and groomed until Wasteland Weekend in September so as to have a complete larger than life look as I lead the caravan through our debauchery I the desert.

Welcome. I missed last year and I have to miss this year. I have a prospector's outfit in the works for SL Comic Con and its mostly the old gear and clothing I wear while actually prospecting with some touches. Wish I could end up there this year but I have to go to Finland instead and run around in the woods in the nude.

this is my only con  or gathering I attend. takes saving and sewing, and building all year to do it right. hope to see you out there eventually!

SLCC is easy because it takes place a mile from where I live. I'll get there in the next couple years.

You look like a mix of Alchestbreach and Bill Petersen (guy who plays as Al. It's kinda weird.

www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbi… It happens often! I simply don't shave much cause it's cold here and I'm from Texas so it sort of comes natural.
