Fallout Silenced .45 by emptysamurai Fallout Silenced .45 by emptysamurai
Done for use in a web series, I traded a piece of used climbing rope for this out at wasteland weekend (A post apoc party in the MOJAVE desert) back when it was just a cheap piece of black plastic.

The silencer is hand made from pvc sintra and steel tubing. hand painted with krylon and games workshop paints.

haha I bet! the post apocalyptic reenactment certainly sounds fun. any chance you're gonna try for a "A Light Shining in Darkness" version? that thing wasn't as subtle, but for a pistol, it was a beast!

there are no replicas or airsoft of that particular model of 1911. I believe it's a colt new agent which is a fairly expensive oiece so I don't see it in my near future. also far too busy working on the web series.

I literally have the exact same airsoft pistol.
I lost a part though, and it no longer works.
Looks awesome! I love the silencer!

thanks! It's always good for re-painting and hanging in a fallout themed shadow box. maybe with a plain brown book, say you cut a cross out of cereal box, paint it gold, BAM the book of scripture joshua and daniel are seen with to go with it. you vould sell it for enough to buy a decent electric blowback 1911.

I tried to repaint mine, to add some metallic feel to it.

Ehh, I spent $10 on the pistol.
I can always retry, I think.

So, basically a 1911.45 with a silencer?
Looking pretty awesome with the new finish, though ;)

I made the silencer to match the in game model.I know it's an easy enough build, but this was simply to keep busy while I finish casting the frag grenades and building the city killer shotgun from fallout 1 & 2. It was a fun little project. to limit myself I only used hand tools on making every piece of the silencer. what you can't see is that the inside has severeal "baffles" that just make me smile knowing it is built like a real silencer.
